Benedictines address the clergy conference PDF Print E-mail
monks.jpgThe theme of the clergy conference held in Bundoran in November 2005 was Living and Celebrating Euchariast. The focus of the second day was Spirituality of the Eucharist. It was led by Dom Mark-Ephrem and Brother Thierry, both Benedictine Monks in Rostrevor. It was a tremendously enriching yet challenging day which left the participants asking one another: "Did not our hearts burn within us as they jouneyed with us all day?"

Gracefully, Dom Mark-Ephrem and Brother Thierry have made the content of their talks available to us that we may further reflect on our Eucharistic spirituality. There is a lot of reading in what follows but whether you are a presider or participant at Sunday Eucharist, from the Archdiocese or beyond taking time to digest what they said will be deeply rewarding. Perhaps your heart too will burn as you ponder what they had to say.

We thank both preists for their generosity and wish them continued blessing in their ministry. To find out more about the Benedictines in Rostrevor visit their website.
