The third module of Soil for the Seed:Exploring our Faith as Adults will begin in Drogheda Community Services Centre, Drogheda on Monday 4 January 2010 at 7.30pm. The theme is Church as Sacramental People. Given the shameful revelations of recent times and the challenges facing the Catholic Church in Ireland at this time, this course is indeed timely. It provides a welcome opportunity to explore what it means for the Church to be both sign and agent of Jesus’ vision of God’s Kingdom, in the context of a changing Ireland.

Go Into My Vineyard is a certificate programme in pastoral leadership offered by Mater Dei Institute of Education, a College of Dublin City University in partnership with the Office of Pastoral Renewal and Family Ministry, Archdiocese of Armagh. It is being held in St Catherine's College, Armagh, beginning on Tuesday 3 November 2009. Completed application forms are to sent to Mater Dei by Wednesday 7 October. Soil For the Seed: Exploring our Faith as Adults is a two-year, one evening a week introduction to some of the key themes of Christianity, as experienced in the Catholic tradition. It is being held in Drogheda community Services Centre, Scarlet Street, Drogheda from September 2009 – April 2011. The course is for adults, of all ages, who wish to explore their faith, who are willing to listen and participate, and are open to new ideas and ways of ministry. No academic qualifications are necessary.
