Preparing for a funeral PDF Print E-mail
Funerals are not something any of us like having to deal with – especially if they involve those closest to us. However, after several years working in the pastoral field where dealing with death is part of our everyday activity, I cannot recommend strongly enough that every family take some time to speak about "Their Wishes".

A little uncomfortable-ness now, could save a lot of heartache, and especially in-fighting later!! This site offers us a chance to look at the various issues surrounding death and dying. www.funeral.com/funeralis a good general site – although based in the States and therefore of limited practical use. www.fsni.co.uk is a good Northern Ireland Site; There doesn't seem to be a site in the Republic covering this topic, however, www.ejgrey.com this site is quite good. So, without being too morbid, now is a time when you and your family can make some time to chat about these important issues.
