Electing a successor to Pope John Paul II PDF Print E-mail
Now that a papal election is on the agenda I offer you 2 sites this week which I came across while browsing into the wee small hours one night.

The first site www.fiu.edu/~mirandas/cardinals.htm is a detailed analysis of every Papal Conclave for which we have records, and includes listings of those (cardinals) who attended, and voted. More importantly, it provides access to all the data on the current batch of Cardinals from which our next pope will be elected. The second site is a logical extension of the first. What happens at a Papal Conclave? - Here's your chance to find out…everything is listed; www.popechart.com/Papal%20Election.htm. Personally I am sad to see the end of the Pontificate of John Paul II, but I do feel that a Papal Election in this current media-rich world will bring the Catholic Church before a lot of people, and with it, some much needed positive (hopefully) publicity. Happy Browsing.

Paddy
