www.intermirifica.org/lent/customs.htm One of my New Year Resolutions was to try to be on time for things... and for those who know me, they will appreciate the enormity of this task! However, by and large, I've kept it so far – and as it came to the time for submission of this week's web site, I though why not carry the resolution into this work as well? So, bearing in mind that lent is just around the corner, I thought I'd suggest this site. It offers some lovely insights into the best of our Lenten customs and exercises. Great stuff here for Parish Bulletins, or discussion starters for prayer groups and class room visits. It is part of a larger site which should also be investigated – providing resources for use throughout the whole year. The "about" page (www.intermirifica.org/im.htm ) reveals that this site was established to promote the Gospel using the modern means of social communication – a very important apostolate in these days.
