Welcome to the website of the Office of Pastoral Renewal and Family Ministry in the Archdiocese of Armagh. We wish you every blessing for Lent 2010.

Have you got your Trócaire box yet?  Be sure to put it a central place.  If you have your Trócaire box you will recognise the girl in the phot on the left.  Here name is Domitille Nyiravakure.  She is from Rwanda in Africa and her photo is on this year's Tróaire box.  Thanks to Trócarie we have found out a little bit more about her.  You can read her story here and a read an interview with her parents here

Six evenings on making moral decision are being held in the Community Services Centre, Drogheda from Monday 22 February - Monday 29 March 2010.  All welcome.  More information here.

Thinking of what to do for Lent? Remembering is one thing you could do.  Find out more here.  We also have two new online courses with Boston College this Lent.  Easy to access and you get to decide how much time you give each week.  One of the courses will be of specific interest to parents as it looks at sharing faith with children.  The other explores Christian faith and moral character - so if you want to reflect on how to live life well, this is the course for you.  More information here.

A Workshop in Sacred Music will take place in the Syond Hall, Armagh on Wednesday 24 February from 8 - 10pm. It will be facilitated by Colum Murphy, director of Sacred Music in St Patrick's Cathedral. A resource pack and refreshments will be available on the evening.
